Engine/Tranny Mounts

I have an 02 Ecotec, with a 5 speed, and I want(need) to upgrade my mounts. I can't find anywhere to buy the indesrts for the tranny mounts, and the upper engine mount. I checked turbo tech racing, they have the tranny inserts, but not the upped engine mount. Can anyone point me to a place where I can get all of them at once?

for the ecotec upper, there is no insert like there is for the 2.4s.. Have to buy a whole new upper mount.. RKSport sells one that is nice and TTRs design is nice but you can hear about multiple issues with their "powder coating" chipping, flaking, and just failing.. I personally have the RK one as I know a lot of people do. As for transmission mounts, TTR make theirs and RKSport also has some available as well. TTRs are more solid and if you plan on getting their K-brace you will want those. Otherwise you can get the RK ones. Also both RK Sport(prothane) and TTR make a lower dogbone mount as well. Same issues with TTR's coating applies to the lower as well i'm sure.. TTRs is a nice looking aluminum piece compared to RK's steel piece.. but again I have the RK one.

I personally would suggest the RK set of motor mounts, and TTR transmission mounts if you plan on running a kbrace. Otherwise i'm sure Prothanes transmission mounts would suit you well.
Check out AllEcotec.com for the RK mounts.. Karo will treat you good and prices are almost always the cheapest.. if not talk to karo and i'm sure he can work something out. Hes never let me down and as sure as many others I always wander over to him first.

TTR carries all the mounts. If you have to search under a 03-05 cavalier, they use the same mounts as the 02 eco Js.

Powder coat issues, was a issue a couple years ago. Since then we media blast ALL parts prior to a 7 stage wash system, and then powder coat. This is a industry standard process we now have. Since we have minimized any issues with powder coating problems

I've been waiting almost 2 months now for my LZM mounts so take that into consideration.

I've bought a few products from TTR and nothing to complain about . Was shipped fast too.

I must of gotten lucky and got one that was made from the old process. I bought and installed mine about 13 months ago, its a red one, powercoat is flakey and chipped all over the place. TTR is a great company to buy from and IMO have great prices, and ship fast; however, I must of gotten old product from the shelf, hopefully thats not the case today.

My engine bay does get really hot from the stainless steel headers with no wrap, maybe this contributed to this?
