Does anybody know if there is a company out there that makes a performance flexplate for the LN2 2200?

I am having my tranny rebuilt and beefed up and my tranny guru wants me to replace the flexplate with a stock brand new unit and I was just curious if a better than OEM flexplate existed. Probebaly not for our cars but its worth the ask.

By the way I have searched high and low on this site and google before I posted my current question.

what in the hell is a performance flexplate? you do realize that our stock flexplate weighs like nothing right?

Hey all I am asking is about durability. I guess I could have made that a little more clearer. I am not after a lighter one.

I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with the stock flexplate, only the Fidanza flywheels.

there's no issue whatsoever with the stocker. it's plenty beefy for an use you could possible throw at it.

Cool, never hurts to ask. I just wanted to prevent myself from buying a new OEM flexplate if there was something better out there.

Since they use it in the S-truck apps too, I'd say you need to worry about searching for some SFI-approved unit... It's plenty strong enough as-is.
