I bypassed the ac compressor due to it starting to grind. After reading a few posts on here, I decided to use the shorter belt method. Anyways I started with a 350k5 and all was well for about 2 days, then it started to sqreech like a bitch. I then swapped it for a 345k5 and that was good for about an hour, before it started to sqreech. What belt size are you guys running on stock size pulleys? Anyone else have this problem? Also the bypass pulley part number 24574519 comes up as an idler pulley on gmpartsdirect.com. Is this right?
I use the, Napa 25-050345 it cost me 13 bucks if i remember right. I also have a compressor motor so you could replace yours with. I wouldn't want much, let me know..

Nevermind,,, I thought you had a Ecotec. I just woke up and need coffee... Good luck anyway.
you're correct. 24574519 is the right number for the ac delete pulley for the 2.4, and it comes up as a "water pump pulley" on GMPD
