Hey there.. I wouldn't doubt there being alot of these threads already, but I'm on my dying iPhone, so making another one! My buddy has a written off 07 Coby ss. I'm wanting to buy his interior, and supercharger kit. Is this gunna be a straight swap? Or what kinda troubles am I looking at? Thanks ahead of time!
look at his engine, then look at yours.
do they look similar?
get the whole car and swap motors...
- Your not-so-local, untrained, uncertified, backyard mechanic. But my @!#$ runs
lol@op
And no, I don't think anyone else has been dense enugh to make a thread like this.
Congrats on first!
Guys, consider the source. He is 16 in a long term relationship and says he is into skyjacked trucks. The next question is where to buy a lift kit LOL
Lol. Well that's the point in me asking ain't it? And ya very true answer lol. And not that it matters Fabtech lift bro, And i'm single so i'm not sure why it says that haha.
then wait for your iphone to charge and search the forums for the multiple threads in the appropriate section (aka boost) that say no you can't swap motors, nor can you put the supercharger kit on your 2200. no there isn't a point to asking since it's been asked already.
my carDomain updated 10/31/09 Forged and Supercharged
What you should have asked: "would anybody be willing to swap my moms carvan motor into my cavalier? then i figured I would get a neon SRT-4 stock turbo kit and be smoking Evo's and vipers."
After all they are both dodge and well the cavalier is american made so the threads and bolts should be the same right guys?
would be kinda cool to see a supercharged 2200...doubt anyone will ever try to do it though, since there's no "walk through" on it.
RSM use to make a 2200 supercharger kit. A long time ago I was planning on doing one but to much of a pain, Like my turbo project hasn't been LOL
I think it'd be cool to see someone do it with a centrifugal supercharger setup. I feel like that would be less of a challenge. Maybe eliminate the AC or something; that'd give you some room to work with.

There have been a few swaps from some Chevy Ventures and Lumina Minivans.
Very Impressive. I had a friend who's dad had a old Chevy van. He swapped a 350 in it with a supercharger. Van looked old, dirty and stock as can be but, when he mashed the pedal that thing was fast as @!#$. I have no idea how much power he was making or quarter times.
It's awesome seeing people do what "Can't be done". I had a couple of knobs from GM tell me there was no way possible to make 400whp in a 2200 cavalier with a 4T40E and I damn sure hope to prove them wrong. Good luck to any and every one who thinks outside of the box. The sky is the limit so I say push that @!#$ to the stars!
So to the OP I say prove us all wrong and do it. As long as you have the buck you damn sure can have the bang.
Wynjammer made a centrifugal one for the S-truck LN2's... so if you can fab, start there!
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
Put one of these bad boys on there
And PJ had the best answer by far..... LOL
IF for some reason you want to boost your LN2.... Im pretty sure you can still buy turbo kits for them....
And what "interior" parts are you gunna swap... the seats?
