or you can do what i did, go spend 20 bucks and make one out or pvc piping. its lighter, retains less heat, cheap and easy. lol
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

And thats why I loved the intake I got off ebay for my 2.2. It was like $6 plus shipping. Cheapest couple hp I ever got out of that car.
What about the 2200's? I have a 2001 and I can't find anything cheap that eliminates the stupid black plenum. I want something that goes right to the throttle body.

Also, I don't want it to cost 250 bucks like AEM's. What a joke.

Bought my first intake for my 2.4 from Cosm. Loved it and it was priced nice also.

i went to pepboys and built one out of spectre @!#$, i'm about to cut the 90 degree off of my vibrant piping and also use that.
Yeah I'm thinking that's the route I'm going to go too. I have a bender and a nice cut-off saw. You guys think 2.5" is big enough for N/A engines?

Here's mine. Cold Air intake for a 2000 2.2.Connetcted directly to the Throttle Body and drops down into the fender with the air filter right in the bumper cover. Nice cool air.
Nice throaty sound too. Was about $75 shipped on eBAY

the piping takes the same route.

anything is possible with some modification. don't b afraid. it's just an intake.
it's shifted over about 1-2 inches, I already tried. . . .
I went into the post office to see about the flat rate boxes, and they were all bloody tiny.
worst part, this tube isn't that big at all. . . .
We currently have the Vibrant intakes on sale for the Non-Ecotec 2.2.

the 2.2 and the
2200(the one he is selling) are completely different.
I checked in NEA's other thread and asked which version of the LN2 it was for. and it's for the 98+ version. Schaffer has the 92-97 version, completely different intake style.
