Make one.

Buy some tubing bends, couplers, T-clamps and a filter.

Unless you would rather pay over $200 for something you can make for about $40.

I had the same one on my '02 2200 Sunfire SE Sedan. I got an AEM Dry Flow filter for it though because those cheap eBay filters suck.

I didn't have any complaints about it. Just as good as the real AEM one without the hefty price tag.

now that hose that comes off the valve cover into the silence box, i see its now routed to the intake, does the kit supply the hose for that. and the sensor that is orignally in the intake, where does that go. because with my short ram. its just hanging there

Generally AEM and the like will use more appropriate piping. A 3" intake on a bolt-on LN2 could very easily decrease power output.

Everything is in the kit, the hose that included is a piece get a new one from auto zone. it comes with a hole for the Air temp sensor, The grommet for that was also a piece and way to small, i brought one of those from auto zone also.

no, that's fine, just make sure you check the seller and see if they have good feedback, if they do go for it. intake's are one of very few appropriate item's to purchase from ebay. just replace the filter with a k+n after you get it and you've just basically bought a 300 dollar intake for under 100 bucks.

Probably not if it was the only red thing in your engine bay. Please don't go crazy with red wire loom, paint, etc.

I prefer polished myself though.

That particular seller is fine. I bought mine (pictured above) from them with no issues whatsoever.

Personally, I would stay away from K&N filters. They need to be oiled to work properly and if over oiled can cause problems with the sensor in the intake, etc. I highly recommend using an AEM Dry Flow filter. It does not need to be oiled and can be washed and re-used pretty much forever.

Here's another link with looks like the same intake but it lists for the 98 or newer 2.2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVROLET-CAVALIER-2-2L-98-99-00-01-02-COLD-AIR-INTAKE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3353de125cQQitemZ220450394716QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccess ories
