Hello everyone, I got a question that needs some help with. I am wondering if an aftermarket coil pack over stocker would be bit better on performance, Not looking to get insane gains, Just wondering more better then stock, Like for Example accel coilpacks replacement over stocker ones?.
Looking to replace the ones on 01 cavalier 2200 2.2L 4 speed auto.
Thanks for youre input guys.
It MIGHT idle smoother and there's a small potential for a tiny gain in fuel economy. Some people report gains while others don't. Take into account the ones that report gains are probably the ones who are replacing broken equipment, not upgrading working parts. All that being said, I have the same car in a 5 speed and plan to upgrade the coils as well. Check in the classifieds, I think someone was selling MSD coils and the modules to go with them.

I had Accel coils and Taylor 8.8mm wires on my 96 LN2 and didnt notice a damn thing.
219whp - I <3 whine
Then I would be better off with stocker one then.
Thanks for the input.
