Do all FWD eco's have the same bell housing?

Do all FWD eco's have the same bell housing pattern, auto or manual, jbody, delta or otherwise?

My specific question is would a 2.4 eco out of an auto pontiac G6 bolt to our F23 getrag?

What about motor mounting mounting points? Are they the same?

All ecos have the same bell housing, including RWD and FWD applications.

huh?

the eco has the same mating surface for the transmission across all variants.

how would my LSJ bolt up to my F23 if the F35 was a different shape?

the only thing up in the air is the depth.. I have the trans spacer for now but I'm still not sure if I really needed it yet

We can run a F40 Getrag(from a 2.0T eco Saab) if we can fit into the engine bay.

you guys really make me want to kill myself sometimes.

This should be common f_cking knowledge by now!!

what would be easier... to change the bell housing on a transmission or the casting for an engine block?

I don't mean to sound like a dick but... f_ck...c'mon guys

well, I knew about the trans but I always assumed we needed custom mount and/or axles

Easy there killer - I didn't know it all the "Gen II" examples (most of which are mated to the newer automatics) had the same pattern as our L61.

back from the dead - are the mounting points the same? Could the LE5 out of a solstice be transplanted to a cobalt and vice versa?
