If you rebuild a 2.2 and put in bigger pistons do you need to adjust the tune of the engine?

nope just tune your radio to 88.3 and you'll be fine.

Depends on what you mean by "bigger"...

how much bigger can you go?

I've seen pistons that are .030, .040, and .060 over. If I go .060 over do I have to feed more fuel?

Not necessary; the computer can compensate for a larger bore.
I just wanted to make sure you didn't mean "taller".

.060 really isnt that much when you get down to it. I think going.040 only move displacement up 2 cubic inches. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

As long as your going larger in diameter you'll be fine. If you go taller, and increase the compression ratio...you'll need to adjust your tune.

0.060" over is the biggest LN2 piston I have seen.

Thanks for the info. If I would go taller and a higher compression is there a standard percent increase of fuel needed versus percent increase in compression ratio?

It's more timing/fuel grade.

.2 cubic inches.

Actually by my calculators, the stock displacement is 133.5 cid. The 0.040' over-bore is 136.5 cid. a change of 3 cid.

Wow, i didn't think it was that much of a difference.
