I am stationed in England. Was wondering if any british or japan vehicle engines can be used for any upgrades. I am not sure if my 96 engine was in any british or japan vehicle. Anyone have a clue so I can start looking. I know there are some Neons in the local yard that I can steal the rear disc brakes off of, but what else can I take?

There's nothing really for your car unless you import the parts there.
Good luck with your finds but importing is the best way to go.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
hey drunken monster would you happen to have seen any Toyota Cavaliers around there?
Negative, but I will keep an eye out, there are three around me and I will get online. What are you looking for?

You're in the birthplace of the sports car and looking for J parts? Maybe its just me, but there are a million things I'd take back with me from the UK over parts for a J-body.

Toyo tails mostly, its not a big deal right now, but if you were to come across any @ a yard, give me the heads up. Thanks bro
Aside from the Isuzu Hombre (Sister to the S-10) I seriously doubt you'll find any other source for LN2 parts in the U.K.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
So do people consider your car a hog over there?

Well their engine sizes for most of their cars are 1.3L. So when they ask how big mine is and I say 2.2, they are like, " Wow, and it's that slow?" It's about the same size as most BMW's running around. But I have only seen one other sunfire and its one of my co workers.

Funny, isn't it? And most are diesel or turbo diesel so they blow us out of the water in torque as well. You're hard pressed to find a hoggy v-6 over there at all. Let-alone a 4 banger with a 2.4L displacement. 2.2 is huge to them. Definitely keep an eye out for those Toyota tails though, not many around.

Alright, will do. I will be going to the yard tomorrow and I will ask if they see any coming in, because they part their cars out for a month or so than they get crushed.
