Ok here goes...2.4l,98, z24. Installed the intake off of a 2.3l. Works awesome. 2 1/4 stainless exhaust and BOTH new O2 sensors. Nothing else changed. Fully functioning EGR valve. Bloody code is "P0420" emission below threshold bank one. Feed back would be awesome as to what other drivers have done to correct this problem or if it is still an issue waiing to be solved...
Thank you for all the help!
P0420 is catalyst efficiency below threshold. That means either a) you have a stopped up cat or b) if you replaced it with a high flow version it flows more than the stock so the car thinks there is a problem.
either that or you need a heated o2 sensor
or you need to tune better...

do you have a stumbling idle?
No stumbling idle. Both the heated O2 sensor and the front sensor are new. Car runs great. No vacuum leaks. Is there any way to bump up the fuel pressure or fuel injector pulse? I think the car just needs more fuel...
I think your cat took a crap.
