it looks ok and ive already got a narrow band installed in the pod so i figured i could get this neat gauge and put it under my headunit where theres some space.. however my question is does anyone see anything wrong with this post??? does it look like a legit product??? yay?? or nay??

Look for an aem uego or innovative lc1. They are cheaper and proven to work good.

From what I just read about them on line they look like just a pre-assembled JAW DIY wideband controller. If you can solder you can get the same thing for 100 bucks, just have to put it together yourself. Personally I'd rather go with an LC1 since you have a support base of people here who could help you at 3am before you need to go to a super important meeting and your @!#$s @!#$ up.

Your text to link here...

its really not that hard at all, basically if you can install a car stereo you can install a wideband. hardest part is welding the bung into the exhaust. Remember, crimps are evil, solder is going to be your best bet with this one, be sure to shrink wrap, dont stack ring terminal grounds.

It makes it much easier to setup. And requires a serial port.

Serial port, you know the thing we used before USB for stuff that wasn't printers or scanners. And no you don't need the cd and cable but it makes getting everything set up much easier. You can use the gauge as it is and get a fairly accurate afr without the cd, but having the cd makes it easier to get a very stop on reading through hp tuners. Without the cd you'll need to be super meticulous about your grounds to avoid voltage offsets.

You should keep the cd, but its not like your tuner can't install it too. And any good tuning shop should have out already. You don't need the software to tune at all. All the software lets you do is change the outputs of the wideband controller.
