Need help building exhaust

Ok, well my exhaust that I have now is absolutely awful. The sound makes me cringe. I acquired the car with the exhaust like it is so it's finally to the point to where it needs to be changed.

What I'm looking to run is this for my 99 z24

Custom long tube header from Ron. (getting made)
http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=2&i=453273&t=453273
I believe I will need a heated o2 sensor because the bung is so far back from the head?

After the header, I want to put a 6 or 8 inch flex pipe followed by the high-flow cat, http://www.autopartsdealer.com/magnaflow_universal_catalytic_converters_94439-p404212-p.html.

Not sure if I want to run a resonator yet or not which is why I'm asking for advice.

Finally, a mandrel bent exhaust with the magnaflow muffler on it from: http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com/servlet/the-240/95-dsh-05-CHEVY-CAVALIER--fdsh-/Detail

Will the flex pipe, cat, and resonator fit before the bend over the rear axle?

All this will be 3inch because if I keep her, I'm planning on slapping a supercharger on her.

I've never built a full exhaust system but I think I'm heading in the right direction.

Any advice or suggestions welcomed.

3" is unneeded. You'll never hit the power levels with a supercharged LD9 to utilize it. 2.5" will work just fine and help it sound alittle better.

its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa

I agree. Even if you were making 225 whp, I would still use a 2.5 inch exhaust. If you make 300 whp, then a 3 inch is not a bad idea.
