so I swapped from the dodge neon set up to the 2200 set up.
I'm loving the results.
It was really simple. the 8 wires from the harness that goes into the 2.4 ICM matches up simply(color for color) with the wires from the 2 and 6 wire connectors on the 2200 coilpacks.
awesome!!! any pics??
i love my mini camaro
I did this swap once, but went back to stock as it worked better for me.

I still wonder about this...I thought there was something that would cause the stock coilpacks to not make decent numbers but I must say I'm happy with 300whp on my junkyard coil pack and module.
Ran junkyard 2200 coils/icm with msd wires for over 3yrs, held up fine through 2 m45 setups with 75shot, and turbo daily driven for 2yrs. Best bang for buck mod. think I put $40 including msd wires which were new but bought from someone
Now I have the msd modules and cant figure out the wiring on my eco :/ I miss the simplicity of working on my ld9
ya I had those done a long time ago, and loved them, then mounted then where my battery was, I miss the old car, too bad its in the back year collecting dust lol

I did the dodge neon coil swap on my 2.4.... not much difference im using the msd blaster coil and have the 8.5mm red wires. i have the msd dis 2 but havent hooked it up yet. the only thing i can say is more better sure of fire at higher speeds and the coils dont heat up inside the housing so its an upgrade but you can only get soooo much out of your stock system to take over on the higher coil voltages.
it is an awesome mod. I did this to my z24 and to my girls alero. Her car runs so much better now. I love this mod!
GMR has got nothing on this
yeah I really like your mod. Can you detail the mod you have done in your vehicle?
Ya know....I did this mod and aside from quicker starting I didnt really notice any difference. That being said I like it for the idea of the coils not sitting on top the hot engine.
