I have been running OBX silicone hoses for a while now. I noticed no difference, but that is just me.
Yeah I know on ebay you could find kits for the LD9 and LN2 for the silicone hoses. I believe lifetime warranty. I was considering going to them at some point. Of course knocking on wood my factory hoses are holding up fine.

hmmmmm i def need to look into this as my factory hoses seemed very worn when i took the motor out...they have about 140k on them so i figured now would be the time to replace them

I have had the OBX ones for about 2 years and seem great... I know they might need some more time, but w/e. Fit just like the factory hoses as well. Also... I did get mine off Ebay. I was afraid, but glad I took the chance.
FWIW, the silicone hoses don't help with cooling. It's mainly designed for longevity and durability in high stress and extreme conditions. That's why the old 9C1 Caprice cop cars came with them, albeit in an ugly green color. But they just about last forever.

well ive talked to a few of my TBSS friends about these hoses and they noticed a slight bit cooler temp after installing them.....i figured it cant hurt at this point

Don't see why switching to them would hurt. Would the kits for the LD9 from OBX work on the Eco?
posted in that other thread i showed you too for input.
The OBX hoses are junk, at least on other platforms I've seen them on. Tend to slip off and bulg/blow out in a short time. I mean its obx, are you expecting quality?

I've been running OBX hoses for just over a year now, no real difference, but they are quality hoses and they clean up nice and easy. They have a nice shine even without any dress up, unlike the stock hoses.
I think when I looked into new hoses the OBX hoses were comparable or less money than stock replacement.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

well thats been my thoughts....everytime i went to upgrade a part i found that the aftermarket part was cheaper and generally better quality hence why im looking into replacing my hoses
