Sunfire aftermarket exhaust problem!!

Ok,so I am sixteen and my first car is a 1999 pontiac sunfire gt.The car has a ehaust kit on it.The car is kinda me and dads project at the moment. We put the car on jack stands and was looking at the exhaust. We already knew thatit had an aftermarket header on it.Last week, when we put it on stands we noticed that it has a highflow catalytic converter. The cat converter is freaking huge. The pipe coming off of it is either 3 1/2 inch or 4 in.We still have to measure that. But the main problem is,they cut the pipe right at the "s bend" and were gonna havetrouble connecting a new pipe there. We could just run a new pipe but it would still have to be a big pipe that size because the cat converter. Our problem is it might be hard to bend that pipe and were not sure if any muffler shops or anywhere can bend it either. So do you all have any ideas?

We might have to put a stock cat converter on it but thats gonna be a last resort I hope.So what i want, and our plans if we can make it happen!:Keep the header, keep the high flow cat,and run that big pipe and run it into a y pipe with dual magnaflow fart cans.So tell me youre thoughts and ideas..Hope you guys can help! And dont tell me to go google!

why not just cut the straight part of the pipe back a couple inches and run a reducer to get a smaller size pipe fit?

You could alway just get a new highflow cat in a more normal size. The lightning ones only cost like 40 bucks.

Pics of said huge exhaust with a soda can next to it for reference.

Car must have nearly 0 power with exhaust that large.

It sounds like it'll be easier to just re do the whole thing in 2.25 piping
