Longer throttle cable

Ok, I have an 04 Cavy, and lately my cable has been getting stuck WOT when I floor it. I knew when building it that the cable was gonna be a little short, but I didn't anticipate this, as I figured out how to run it without bending it too sharply but it is at the maximum operational length. I have a LS1 tb custom mounted to the Portfueler intake, which gives little room for error when planning the throttle cable routing. Is there anywhere I can get a longer throttle cable, or any car that has a longer throttle cable I can use? It's kinda scary getting stuck wot when I'm pushing 25psi.

I'd just hit up a local junk yard this way you can checkout multiple gm cables at once and look for the same style connectors on pedal and tb sides. I'm not aware of any members off hand who have swapped cables when running an ls1tb on a fueler. I know from building mp62 tb adaptors that it's tight so each one needs to be fabbed with everything connected on the car.

I hope you find a resonable solution as I'll be in the same boat in a few months with my portfueler and ls1 tb setup.

Find a cav with an ld9, cable is longer and should drop in pretty easily.

^^ this

2.4 works perfectly. only hard part is pulling it out without screwing up the clips that hold it in the firewall

thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna try to get hold of a cable off an ld9 and see if it helps.

Or you could try applying lithium cable grease, kinda hard but an option.

I haven't installed it yet, but I got a cable from an ld9 and it's about 6-9 inches longer than my current cable, so I'm sure it will do exactly what i was wanting. I also got some grease for it just in case that was contributing to the sticking throttle also. thanks for the suggestions though.
