How do I disable traction control on my 2000 cavalier? Its an auto, I don't know if this help but my sifter reads 1 2 D BUT it does shift 4 times.
put it in 1 or 2 and it disables traction control.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
I have a feeling that the last shift you're feeling is the torque converter lockup. If your car hasn't had the dash changed, sounds like it's only got a 3spd, and probably doesn't have trac. control.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
