Id recommend a FMIC, thats a decent size turbo you have on it.

I know that the brass valve technically will work as a boost controller; but i also recommend a decent MBC. I bought a grimmspeed one for $100 i think. That was the most consistent one i ever used and i tried like 5 different home made methods and one ebay style controller. $100 i should have just spend up front.

Thanks for the info. I never get sick of someone trying to help. I'm not a big fan of FMI I'm working on a air to water right now. Don't get me wrong I'm really looking forward to getting the tune done. But iv been a ASE mechanic for over 20 years and have have turbo Buicks and nitrous cars that run single digits. I know how to read plugs, EGT And AFR. from the way everyone was talking this thing wouldn't even run without a tune. It's actually doing very well. Can't wait to see how much the tune will help.

Do you have a wide band O2 sensor hooked up?
You need one of those also, or you will have no way to tune it.
Was your turbo buick EFI?

Is that an eBay log manifold? If so how did you attach the wastegate? I cant get the nuts to tighten on the stud because they are hitting the wastegate themselves.

What bolts are you talking about grinding? Did you have to grind on the wastegate housing?
