Time has come to sell my car. I am currently starting college for criminal justice and have recently applied to a local police dept. I feel its time for me to get rid of the car and settle down a little bit, and just get out of the jbody scene. Later on once I establish myself in the police force I would like to buy a 01 or 02 Z28 Camaro. But for now, Im trying to sell the car and buy a pick-up for my daily driver.
About the car: Bought with 8,000k in early november of 2005, currently it has 24,200k as it was not my daily driver, car was stored in winter and I drove a beater. I started modding with lowering, intake, exhaust and then rims. Decided over the winter of 2006 it was time to step it up and drop the money on a turbo kit. I bought my kit off another member on here drove to pick it up and started to put it on the car in december of 2006. Slowly piecing it together I bought and sold a few different things to customise the kit the way I wanted. Cosmetically the car has not been wrecked but it does have some paint chipping on the rear bumper next to the exhaust outlet, I have not had the money to get it fixed and nor do I plan on fixing it before I sell it. There is also a small dent that is only noticeable in the right light and angle above the front passenger wheel well, that just appeared there one day, I think maybe someone decided they wanted to be an a*% and knee it but that can also be fixed easily. Other than that the car only has minor light scratches and some small chips on the hood. It runs excellent and is very powerful running at 12psi, I have never had it to the track or the dyno so I have to numbers.
Exterior Mods: Custom clear headlights, rear carbon fiber tail bezel with carbon fiber lights, 17" ADR Phantom 5 Spoke Rims(1 has curb rash), custom front cut bumper, and tinted windows.
Interior: 3 gauge full pillar pod, custom fiberglassed 3 gauge bezel(currently not finished and not in car) stock mp3 cd player and speakers
Suspension: Eibach Sportlines on dropzone struts(needs new strut mounts)
Transmission: Fidanza Short Throw
Engine: Cometic Multi-layer head gasket and arp head studs, turbo-tech lower engine mount
Turbo Kit: Turbo: t3/t4 hybrid, a/r .50, .63 turbine-this is an eBay turbo but it has no leaks or anything wrong with it. It pulls this car along very very hard. Alot say ebay turbos are junk but mine has been doing great for 5 months straight now with no problems.
Authentic Tial 38mm wastegate with a 12lb spring. I run a turbo xs manual boost controller too because this spring would not push the full 12psi it was supposed to.
Cartech Begi 2025 FMU w/42lb ford green top injectors, the fuel rail is tapped and I am not running an fpr. This set-up works excellent and it is running great air/fuel ratios in and out of boost.
Log style manifold w/38mm wg flange
Custom 2.5" down pipe w/5 bolt turbo flange already welded on, full 2.5" downpipe back exhaust to 4" outlet.
All oil plumbing lines and fittings were found custom, car does not leak any oil, it was changed with valvoline synthetic blend less than every 3000k.
All intercooler piping is aluminum and custom cut, I had an issue once with piping slipping off during boost, but fixed it by installing t-bolt clamps and have not had an issue since, the set-up is stiff and strong with all re-inforced 4 ply silicone couplers.
The intercooler I believe is from jonny racecar, front mounted measuring, 36x6x2.5., with brackets welded to the top so you can bolt it to your car.
Hks ssqv box with pipe and flange already mounted
Lots of misc vacuum hose and stainless steel clamps
Greddy full auto timer
Gauges in triple pillar pod, volt(Cobalt), air/fuel(autometer phantom, and boost(1 cobalt gauge and 1 glowshift, glowshift currently in car)
