LOL man KS is the one state you can get away with anything i know a guy that has his bottle in his car connected at all times and cops don't mess with him just don't make it obvious and the big thing is cops know that he street races or at least used to...

lol ya i called the olathe police dept and they said that they dont handle deal with it and that i needed to call a traffic officer like a dot inspector for question or the fire dept. i was like uhhhh ok? i said are there any laws permiting nitrous and that didnt give me a clear answer. I tried getting in a little more detail about if you can drive with it unhooked or the bottle closed and they didnt seem to know nor did the officer i talked to so i guess im good lol.

well from all of the cops that i have spoken to, and thats in the twenties, they say that the bottle has to be kept out of the passenger compartment and to keep it disconnected while on the street. If its not disconnected than make sure you can prove that the bottle is turned off if they ever happen to inspect it for some reason. Usually though they dont mess with you unless you are caught street racing, speeding, or some wreckless driving, or the if the cop is a dick! Keep in mind though that i have only spoken to wandotte county cops and johnson county cops, so i dont know anything about any other places. On the other hand i saw that you mentioned olathe, where you located at?
