im definately feeling the second mix so far, i listen to alot of music from this genre guess cuz im from KC. It flows pretty good and definately has some good songs on it.

Well I totally agree ... some of these new Hip Hop tracks aren't like what i grew up with and listen too ... I am ole school I listen to Hip Hop back in the early 80's back when

There are many more to me are true hip hop when they actually flow... like rhyme.
But times change and Hip Hop change... so as the listeners... but me as a DJ have to keep up with the change but also in the same time try to influence the listeners some ole school flavor hopefully they'll appreciate what Hip Hop trully is... it suppose to rhyme...
But there are a couple of tunes that aren't too bad from other artist you just have to have an open mind about music.

Thanks I tried not too put all that money hungry bling this or that but I did had to put few couple of tracks to appeal every listeners.

I am ole school I put tracks that I feel have a meaning to it...
Last year when I came out of retirement it was extremly hard for me... I was a nobody but few promotion companies helped me out ... I actually got a couple of underground/rave parties northwest of IL def made a minor impact with my ole school vinyl... but I needed to keep up with these younger crowds and younger DJ's... because they were def better then me...
So I figured I do what I can ... and show them what I am all about ... No computers just straight Blending and Mixing. Either Vinyl or CDJ's...
Don't get me wrong DVS or computer mixing isn't all too bad ... but personally it takes away a lil of the fun... about beatmatching and blending. But maybe I'll venture that possibility in the near future I have to be open minded about it .. but for now I'll rock the crowds with what I got either Vinyl or CD's .... and show them what Blending is all about.
Btw those mixes I posted are all recorded live no practice or sessions I just get tracks and hit record and see how it goes or flows...
At the venues or locations I spin I may have a session setup but mostly I spin on the fly... if they dig they do if they don't no worries... I tried my best.
