I can't get anyone to install my deck into my car .Stores are still telling me $200 - $270 to install it. it is a 2002 sunfire. ppl on here saying only door chimes won't work if factory stereo removed then why are the stores telling me that air bags and systems won't work. So confused whats correct?

Ok so the stores are trying to make money!

1) you can buy the kit that routes the stock stereo to the trunk!
2) you can get a black box which simulates the stock stereo!
3) you can hard wire and you will lose you door chimes!

But as far as losing your air bags, i haven't seen it yet, and i have done all three!

I could care less if i lose door chimes don't need them. I can't install stereo myself but kinda in tough place when I can't easily go to store and get it installed.

It's a relatively easy install, I'm sure there are plenty of people in your area that would be able to help you out for a much lower price.

You will need to buy 3 things. Harness, antenna adapter, and mounting bracket. Look to spend anywhere between $50-100 total for those items.

all you need is the parts and i can do the rest...

you definately don't need to relocated your factory radio... chimes are annoying anyways - i haven't had mine in my car for over a year now... but if you want to relocated it.. i got the wires insatlled in mine.. i once had my radio relocated to the trunk.. but now the wire just dangles in my wheel well...
