Pretty sure GM Stage 2 is a modification, so the car is definitely not "never modded"
Anyways, why you selling?
By 'Mod' I mean some slapped on plastic hood scoop or cut springs, or$100 lowering kit.. Anything not OEM.
If a GM warrantied 45hp boost is a deterrent then I'm in trouble. And as for why I'm selling it...what does it matter?
I'll trade you a 1998 z24 and some cash.

Its a mod nonetheless, warranted or not. Still a modification (search the definition of modification in any dictionary).
Also, it always matters. Reason for selling ALWAYS influences a buyer.

No @!#$......
Jeez. I'm selling it because I let it roll into a boat launch and it got fully submersed. I put the hair dryer to the leather and all seems fine....like wtf? I'm selling it, the reasons are my own not yours. As for the Mods...whatever. The car is what it is.
If you're interested drop me a line and we can deal. If you're gonna just bitch about the car, then this thread isn't for you.
If someone is interested in your car and they ask why your selling it.....You respoond the reasons are my own not yours.....There goes your sale.....
Arn't you getting married out settling down ? Reason enough to sell it in my opinion.
My Cav
I give up...
i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
Sounds like it's mini van time. Lol.
Formulating an answer to the question would be wise. I have been looking for an old car these days. It's the first question that I ask.
I would have no problem recomending this seller. He's a stand up guy, aside from the puppy kicking.
I can also attest to Kyle being an upstanding member of the community. Trust me, this car has been babied from day one, grannyshifted every time, hell the tires probably still look brand new!

Fine....I've just never in my life seen such hostility in regards to reasons selling a car. Aside from some damage or any other problems related to the ACTUAL CAR I see not one reason it should affect the potential buyer. As I see it my personal life is my own, and MY Reasons are mine to keep.
However after the resoundingly kind response in this thread you've all warmed my heart enough to divulge the fact that I've purchased my first home that closes in November. I currently drive 160 kms per day to work and have needed a 2nd car as to not kill the SS. The move is closer to work and is close enough to reasonably use 1 car to commute. It's still about 90 kms per day and I just can't see myself pounding 2000 kms on that car every month. Plus the insurance has gone up due to moving back into the GTA. This compounded with the monthly payments make a cheaper car more inline with my current financial situation.
Thanks for everyone else for the kind words.
Anything else I need to answer here??
Good Luck with the Sale....
I was looking into these religously a few months back and thats a good price.......

I understand your need for privacy, but I also understand the mindset of the average buyer. My coment was made to help you sell the car. Selling the car is as much about the seller as it is about the car itself.
My father can hook you up with a car if you like. Why not give him a ring to see what he can do for you. Trading in a car can be worth while if you are dealing with someone that isn't a crook. At the very least, you can keep your current salesman honest. Just tell him that is what you are doing. My only request is that you are 100% honest with him. He is far too busy to play games. He is a fleet guy, so he makes his own prices and doesn't send you into the F&I box to finalize the deal. That is where most get screwed over at dealers. I'll PM his contact info.
damn if i had a place to put this car i would be interested.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
anything that is not OEM is a modification. Just FYI.
No offense, but you don't sound like someone I nor my friend would want to deal with. GL with the sale.
I answered the question honestly.
Can we drop this Modification thing already? IT IS MODIFIED. And FYI you can order a stage 1 or 2 from the factory as an option...... OEM or not?
Thanks Craig, I'll see about it this week.
