Hey all haven't posted on here in a long time, quick question, I need rotors for my 99 cavalier would prefer to get some slotted or cross drilled and for some reason I can't find any in T.O. Was going to get some from ebay, but had problems with previous bad transactions on there, any help appreciated. Thanks.
Parts source, parts man, any parts store man, I can get a set in Bowmanville, if you can't fine any in Toronto you not looking vary hard.....Personally i prefer the ATE one with the crazy pattern in them, i'm i know of number of people who can back me up on that, iirc they were on-sale at Canadian tire the other week.

I guess all those manufacturers using drilled rotors are putting garbage on their cars eh? Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari, all of em, garbage! They should be going to Canadian Tire for the rotors they use in their $10,000+ brake upgrade packages, instead of cross-drilled.

whatever you do the Baer Decela rotors are garbage....or i'm to hard on brakes
regardless 2 sets in 5 months just don't do it for me.... all the cross-drilled holes had stress/ heat cracks... IMO there junk...as for the ATE rotors..i had the same problem with heat cracks...lol but they did last alot longer.

I think cross drilled rotors kinda have a bed reputation with some people because the uber cheap ones tend to crack...
If you buy something thats of decent quality though you have no troubles.
WILWOOD FTW!!!! lol...i know they dont make a STOCK replacement. just kidding... i think BREMBO and BAER both make cross drilled/slotted for the jbody....am i wrong?

Bill do you really think hes going to be buying the same style brakes as on lambos etc etc....i'm not retarded and u should know that, obviously there's plenty of amazing quality drilled rotors out there, but my guess is he'll buy the cheaper one which will most likely crack.

They've worked excellent for me and i know a tone of others that love em, beter than stock and for the cost, i'll take em...i drive a stock sunfire not a race car

I agree with you that some drilled rotors are crap, especially cheap ones but if you buy a good name brand Rotor such as Brembo or EBC or such they will last and out perform

lol...they replaced them twice (partsource), the third time i just got my money back and got some cheapos to put on till spring....i think i'm very hard on it
....i crack everything. big brake upgrade is coming in the spring for the front
got to hand it to partsource...i got free brakes 2 times and 200 dollars back the last time since i went cheap...
