k i did a h.o intake swap in my car today,got it all running and it's missfireing.sound like its running on 3 cylinders and has now power.It's a 98 with a egr so i took the egr of and put the block plate on,anyone ever had this problem or heard of it?any help would be great

#1 don't run it until you've got it figured out..Misfiring is bad
#2, did you mess with the idi? pull the entire idi+ coil pack off and look for tell tale arcing. Do you have a spare to swap on?
nope never touched the idi cover at all,and the car wasnt missfireing b4 i did the swap

souded like a vacuum problem to the map sensor
no..the little pring that goes in the spark plug boot,it was missing on one of them which casued the plugs to foul..so i repaced it and new plugs and its as good as new now!
