And well deserved might I add, and he had a couple of good competitors. So congrats on the award Steve.
As far as the show, this was my first time (no car, just me), but people said that it was a relatively small turnout. I had a awesome time, I tried my best to meet as many people as I could, and it was good to put a face to a name/car finally. The IRP Speedway seemed to be a great location in my opinion, and I'll be there next year too. Apparently they gave out real nice door prizes last year and in previous years (such as a supercharger and stuff from RKSport), but not this year and that was kinda a bummer to most. I'm not going to go into every little detail about the show, I only wish that there were more Florida peeps were able to make it. Maybe next year.

You're not the only one that couldn't resist, others were yelling that out as he went up there to accept his award.

Sweet ride man! I'm droolin' over here!
Uh John...thats not Blues Car.....thats Streetlines Cavalier....
um that would be blue's car aka the hated one (steve) who happens to own streetline...and i dont think he comes on the org anymore or at least doesnt post in the regional forums cuz some of the d!cks that can be found in here..Not gonna point anyone out but blue is a good guy, he and his family have put a lot into that car and deserves the best of show at the bash and the florida meet if not a lot more. Congratulations Steve!
As far as I understood from what Steve's wife told me at the bash, it is Steve's car that he and his father built, he does NOT own Streetline, but he does work for and is sponsored by them. But yes, Steve is a good guy and like I said it was well deserved.

is that so? i need to get my facts straight then...
John your holding out post all the photos!! haha how about that one with you in the car, or the other car!! haha for the post I'm still here just been busy with work and customs. Me and the wife will be at the Ocala meet next Saturday. I might bring up the TRD Toyota Cavalier.
You're My Boy Blue - hahaha yea some of the guys from Dayton Ohio that I know where yelling that! Also Sunday we went to another show in Ohio where I took best of show, Best Paint, Longest drive, Best Eng car, 1st wild cavalier, and the TRD Cavalier took best JDM and thats funny because it's 100% JDM haha
So John post up them photos! Oh and all you had to do was ask about the TRD Toyota Cavalier and I would have let you drove it! hahaha
One more thing the white car will be on the front cover of Ministyles.com for the Sept. issues and Gauge Magazine is going to shoot it next month for one of there covers. I also got Speed Channel that did a video interview that they are going to run on TV I was told.

The price is 20k for it. The vehicle is number 20 out of 50 ever made by TRD with there package deal. Also this is the only TRD Toyota Cavalier in the US and the only one I ever seen. I heard about these years ago but it took this long just to find one.
SHOCKWAVE IS BACK
