OKAY FOLKS...
Here is the deal... I went ahead and reserved 20 rooms for the meet at Masters Inn on I-Drive since everyone was talking like they wanted to be at the same hotel and what not. The hotel is less then a mile from Race Rock - so therefore it is convenient to get to.
THE PROBLEM IS:
When I called yesterday to check on the rooms - THERE WERE ONLY 7 RESERVATIONS MADE!! I do not know why I even bothered wasting my time for that and now the Manager is getting all pissy with me since he had a hold on those rooms.
WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS - WHO RESERVED A ROOM THERE?!?!?!?!?!
Please make a list if you have reserved a room there and what name it is under so that I can call him back and let him know who from the group is registered there.

I know Donnie reserved 3 rooms for some of the people in Tampa (myself included).
Just reserved mine.... If you guys call have them cross search using Carol's name to find the J-body reservation. They had a heck of a time finding it for me.

I reserved one under my name (but not sure if the guy gave m the correct price). I spoke with John on Monday.
I know Robert reserved one as well on Monday night and he spoke with John as well. He tried to charge Robert full price.

yep, donnie has 3 rooms reserved...
this happens every year - but i do know that the people that did reserve our rooms are very thankful for your hard work and dedication
i was wondering how many rooms had been reserved...i can't believe only 7 of them though. are people waiting until the last minute? or are they just not planning on going to the track on friday night?
i can't believe that he's giving you that much crap though - hells there nothing going on in o'town anyways, it's not like he was going to book those rooms anyways...

Donnie you are soo right, this does happen ever year, if not for the hotels for other things. I do think not many people are planning to go to the track, and I think there is a reason for that. The Florida j meet has moved away from what it once was, and more of a car show, so people want to look good, not have fun. Just my 2 pennies.
Also another jax perosn will be calling tonight to reserve a room.

I hope you know I will not be heading out Higgins. Got a race to do Sunday and Friday I have to work.
