'83 Firenza LX WAGON now on Ebay

Looks promising for those hankering for a wagon. Needs some engine labor but I am sure a few of you are up to it. The ads sez the car is good from a rust standpoint.

For some odd reason I can;t copy/paste the link at the moment- just search "Firenza' under cars for sale.
Firenzas are soooooooooo rare these days.

They were rare back then! Anyone ever seen armrests like that? I'd love to get those from seats.

Thanks for posting the links and pics guys.

The armrests, mounted on the doors, also form the top of the what is the door mounted map pocket. This piece was a hallmark of the "LX" (sedans, wagons), EX (coups) and SX (hatchbacks) for Olds (no drop tops, ever).

There were other bits and pieces that came w/ the "X" package as well- IIRC, the equivalent of the Chevy "CL" deluxe cloth interior, was included.

When I was 1st getting into J cars when they were new, I craved an SX Firenza hatch in red w/ a grey interior. I never did get a Firenza- fell into a Sunbird S/E instead, but I always liked the Olds (and indentical Buick) interiors better.

I notice two rocker switches near the cubbyhole below the radio. As far as I knew, one is for rear defrost, the other should be for fog lights--but I didn't see any fog lights? Anyone know what the other switch was for?

Orlen--not that there are really that many examples left out there, but I wouldn't expect those wheels to be all that rare, Oldmobile used that style wheels from the 70s through the 80s on many cars; just about anything with 13" rims (or if this car has 14") would have had them available. My dad's 78 Cutlass Salon and 84 Cutlass Ciera both had these rims.

Wayne- the skyhawk hatch vid posted this weekend confirmed what i thought- one rocker is, as you said, the rear window defrost. The other is for the rear window wiper.
