Ok, since you guys are more knowledgeable about the V6's than me, I was wondering if a 3.1 flywheel will bolt up to a 3.8? Or will a 3.4 flywheel bolt up? I have a 96(i know 3rd Gen) and im swappin in the series II supercharged 3.8. Im at the point that i need a flwheel and clutch to bolt her together. I know my tranny will bolt up. I know my stock clutch will work. But I need a flywheel. I am getting a spec stage 3 clutch. I need Help!

No, they dont bolt up.
What you need is a 3800 Fbody 5spd manual Flywheel. Have the flywheel cut down in thickness to the same spec as a stock 3.1L flywheels thickness.
The # of bolts and the flange for the 3800 is different from a 60v6.

i thought about the 3.8 camaro one but i have to get it from the dealer. No biggy, but why does it have to be cut down? Clearance issues? help me out please.

The thickness of the flywheel dictates the distance from the throwout bearing too the clutch disc, so if you don't cut it down, the clutch will not work. You need too make sure the 3.8 Camaro flywheel is the same thickness as the 3.1 flywheel too maintain that proper distance.
