Hey, I want to disconnect my daytime running lights on my 92 RS, anyone know where this is. I haven't been able to find it.
Just cut all the wires...you'll get to it eventually
Your drl's are a little black box under the hood on the drivers fender behind the headlight, I dont know what will happen if you remove it. You might have to ut the wires at each end and soldier them all back together with out the box betwen them or something, I'm not sure. But I know for sure thats your DRL's if you pull the cover off the chip is all coverd in some rubber stuff to stop it from being shaken to death, so theres not much you can to inside the box.
92's had DRL's? No kidding?

under the dash on the drivers side will be a small black box its about 2inches by 1 inch. youll have to look hard since its way up there, its near the computer hookup. anyways open that box and inside will be a computer chip, pull it out, that controls the lights. if you unplug no check engine lights will go out so you should be fine. It's set up like that since american cars dont have DRL. hope that helps
Ah...so the fact that I'm a yank means I get no DRL's in my 92...interesting...

Pull the fuse out of the "FOG" slot in the fuse box...that disconnected mine.
