arch wrote:I second that notion... being a j-er who's dealt with underbodies before, those ARE brite, especially considering you can't see the bulb. I'm prolly gonna get a new kit for mine soon what brand are those? My Liteglows were pretty brite. also, get me pics of the underside... I wanna see where you installed 'em.
those are gonna set off that vader kit extremely nicely.
alright, well since the car is parked on the side of the road and isn't planned to go onto a hoist anytime soon, these will have to do for now.
Driver side
as you can see, we had to bend the brake lines and move them to the side a bit to make room for the underglows. we also had to use a power grinder to take off a mount for the brake lines. and you can't see the brake lines from the side, so i'm happy.
under the front lip
the rear
the Transformer
the hole i went through in the fire wall
it's on the upper left side of the fire wall (driver side)
the switch
now I'm in the middle of taking apart my interior, so these arn't the best pics, and me and my friend broke the switch somehow
so off to work i went and got a simple switch and i'll mount it in where the factory sterio was... i'll post pics if you guys want of it compleat.
arch wrote:thanks for the follow up man. and i appreciate the effort of taking the pics. I'd never ask anyone to get down on the ground for me lol. actually, my liteglows were excellent, i accidently busted one of the side bulbs one day and removed the kit. they were brite and very well installed considering I didn't have much experience back then. those are gonna be nice under that kit. luckily sideskirts cover the bulbs better anyway... so won't be any need to mess with the brake lines that way. but they look nice man. thankies.
well yes and no, mabey you mounted your differently, but to hid the underglow 100% and to make them fit nicly, we had to move them over, same on the 3rd gens.
mhy friend that did mine also did a yellow 3rd gen the week before and had to do the same to her car.
of course i'm not saying your wrong, don't get me wrong, it's just that it seems to make the most sence to do that, that way you don't see the bulb at all... how did you mount your old ones?
