check your coolant level? Is your fan running? Does it still have the original radiator and lines?

um... newer radiator, coolant is full and fan turns on, there is no coolant mixed with the gas...
with the gas? look for it in the oil, what i was geting at though was this, if you have a cracked head gaskit, pressherised air from the combustion chamber can airerate( sp?) the coolent in the head, thus causing it to over heat.

It could still be bad, pull the 2 right hand plugs and see if they are white.
checked em.. not white...
.. WHAT IM SAYING.
A, the head gaskint is cracked and PRESSHER from the cumbustion chamber is entering the waterjackits in the head, casuing the coolent to boil, this casuing coolent not to take heat away from the head.
or
B. the head is cracked, AGANE causing PRESSHER to enter the
water jackit and boling the coolent.
ither way you can ither do a leak down test to see if this is the case, or pressherise the coolent system to see if you have a leak anywere.
