I am back with yet another question. What is the difference between the 2200 alternator and the old ones? Do they produce more power? Are they easier to turn? Lighter?

I think he writes about jeeps but we all use the same types of alternator.

You just have to know which one you have fitted then read through all the info to see the improvement history.

You will be able to see how the output depends on RPM and the later types will even shut down temporarily with overtemperature before operating quite normally again
