I just bought a 1990 Z24 with the 3.1 in it and it has problems dying out when coming to a stop. It starts trying to die when slowing down for a stop like trying to die and then reving back up to counter the dying action and then when you get to the stop it just falls on its face but starts right back up again. I am apparently not the only one with this problem and I have replaced the TCC (torque converter clutch) Solenoid already and that was supposed to correct it but didn't. I have tried just about all of the common things like setting the idle and stuff like that. I guess the only thing I have left to do is check vacuum lines for pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I drive the car off a cliff lol.

the tcc solonoid is a common fialure, however if the tranny has a lot of metal in it, some metal can actualy come up and jam the lockup valve or solonoid.
