What do you all think the best battery is? (and by best I mean good, and for a decent price)

well ill probably get laughed out of the org but i always used those everstart batterys from walmart. there cheap and last a while. sure id like a optima but i could use a 100.00 bucks or so else where. so my opinion is there good at a decent price

I agree i use everstart also. I just picked up two of them from the junkyard for $10, one of them was only 2 months old. batteries usually always have the date printed on the top or the sales receipt still with them, so i like to buy them from the junkyard. Its easy to find good ones and they are cheeeeep.

optima here as well, a red top. i needed a good starting battery and after i killed a good battery in 1 year i thought i should just buck up and get a good battery.

I agree, it's worth the extra money, but I dunno about finding one in a junk yard, seems to me that'd be a kinda rare find. maybe it's just my @!#$ty ass area tho~

I'd say optima if you have the money, everstart if you're thrify... but optimas will last and perform

Sounds good to me. I live only a mile or two from a pretty big junkyard, I'll go down there and check for one. If I can't get one from there, I'll most likely get one from Summit.
