I'm new here, and I have barely any info on the sunbird, besides what I've looked up, but I have a minor dilemma. the engine of my '94 sunbird LE is crapping out on me, and I was a friend of mine is willing to sell me his supercharged 3800 for $300.... is it possible to fit it in the engine compartment with a getrag tranny? I was wondrign what I'd have to do to GET it to fit, if it would, like, almost fit...

It will fit, you'l lneed to make a completly custom engine support system though. none of the stock mounting locations will work. its a realyl tight fit though, the belt for the supercharger is almost right against the strut tower, but a couple of guys have successfully done the swap. in fact the fastest FWD cavalier right now is a 3800 Turbocharged.

hmm... thanks for the info! now I'd have to figure out how to set up the cradle, and I'll be good! any links or anything on it?
