Hey guys i got a 92 sunbird 2.0 mpfi and once and a while i would be driving around town(traffic and some highway) adn the temp started to climb to about the red and than it would go down to lime the 1/8 mark and go up to about little less than half. and than it stopped doing it allove a sudden. i replaced the thermo, cap and the coolant deff needs to be flushed its brown(DONT YELL) ive beeen tight on cash so i was wondering. could this be a sine of a bad head gaskit. the oil is fine no chocolate milk (yum)

cant go wron with a $250 dollar car

Check your radiator. My car did the same exact thing. I found out that it had a radiator leak.

JVC KD-SX8350, Powerbass 6x9's rear, have to find some decent 4" front speakers,
Two Solobarics 12L5 powered by a Legacy LA2070 (1200x2 max).
Soundstorm F100.4 powering the interior speakers.
Now it's time for engine work.

i'd just say it were time for a good cooling system tune. flush the radiator and overflow and check for any leaks- at the cap too. check your electric fan, make sure it's working fine. new coolant, new thermostat. get a slightly higher temp one. it's not uncommon for the temp guage to fluctuate every blue moon, it's normal for any engine to heat up past it's normal operating temps from time to time. I'm just saying don't jump the gun without going thru the motions first.

hot rod, street mod, whatever, just passion
