Does anyone have a picture or a color scheme of the 2 plugs that plug in the back of the ecu of a 1993 cavalier? My computer got wet, blwe up and fried the harness as well. I bought another ecu, and a harness, that doesn't quite have all the wires I need, and now my car is over heating, losing power, and idling very very (400-500 RPM). Can someone please help me out on this one. My ECU service number is :16134847 BAYF.
Help is truly appreciated.
I have a 93 as well. I do believe that the harnesses are blue and white.
I was wondering if you have, or can you take a close up pic of the harness, both front and back. My ecu wires burned out and not all of my wires are connected.
I have the service manual, i'll scan the pages for you tonight.
eh.. i just looked at my service manual.. its for a 94 cavalier and shows the ECM with 3 connectors going to it.. you only have 2?
Some 4 cyls have 2, some have 3. I'm guessing the change happened in 94, since mine and several others I've looked at have 3, but all the 93s I've seen have 2.
Thank you very much. I have a 4 cylinder. But this should help alot.

True. I was only reffering to the 93's though. My fault for not stating that.

And the 2 plugs in my 93 are pink.
Good thing they're hidden under the dashboard!
