Should I consider it?

I "possibly" might trade in my 2.2OHV (yes I'm a traitor) for a v6 z/24 so I can be like the cool guys j/k. What are your opinions on it? I might call tomorrow and see what condition it is. It looks like a nice car to put a 3400 in. I'm not certain/high doubt I can get it, or try to find a phase later on. Unsure.

My girl (car) is getting jealous!

not trying to be an @$$ here but just wanted to make sure im not seeing things or that you have noticed it. Looks like it has a different driver side door installed. It looks like darker / more smooth paint. Maybe it has been in an accident? Again, just trying to help.

No man you're not being an @$$, thanks for the headsup man that's why I asked for some opinions first.

defently... body looks to be worth it.. (from outside pics)

however, with the door being more glossy, check for any damage on the rockers (inside the door sill, ect)

but i'd take it for that price!

looks like all it needs is a tire

Check the rockers and rear inner fenders for rust, otherwise buy it up. It already has dual exhaust on it thats a plus and the things that need fixing look very minor.

Yes I'm defenantly going to make sure it has a 4th rim.(I know where I could get a 4th though) And check the rockers and Inner fenders for rust. I'm going to call the number tomorrow since it's raining today and see what's up with the car.

with a paint job, some new wheels, a little bit of creativity and love, that can be one super clean car.

I used to have digital dash in my 87 Z... personally I like analog better, but that's just me...

Digitial has its cool parts though...

Wheres it located at (like state) 'cause if its near, i'll buy it. lol

I haven't talked to the seller of the car yet I'll post the milage tomorrow if I get a chance. I'll also check and see if the digital clusters are functioning properly.

Update: I talked to the old geezer the other day and he said their is a 4th rim and the car used to be $2400 but he reduced it to 800 because there is a KNOCK in the engine so I'm not going to get it. I think I will just wait around for a phaseII z/24. Ok Stenger it's all yours and check your pm too lol.

ya, that Pm was GAYNESS!

However... just because it has a knock in it, don't mean its not worth the 800. That shell appears to be in great shape. You get a lot on that car for 800. Even so, most parts can be used on another 2g...

Yeah, but I don't have room for a parts car, and decided to stick with my RS bumpers incase I do trade this in for a Z. You think I should provide video of the knock? I couldn't check it out today it was pouring rain.

It is NOT worth 800 with a knock. I only paid 550 for my Sunbird at an auction, and that was nearly 4 years ago. I also picked up a '92 Mazda 929 with a perfect body, great interior (leather), nearly new tires, and only 125k miles on it for 500 over a year ago. I drive the Sunbird more since it gets better mileage and accelerates better (power to weight ratio on a 929 sucks), but both run great.

yeah, but 800 for a great body and maybe a good interior is worth it.

You could probably sell parts off it and get 1500 total in sales...
