storing my '94 cavalier for winter.. ideas?

yo guys, i am putting my '94 Cav in storage this week for the winter and i'll be putting my '91 Sunbird 2.0 n/a back on the road until spring.

i'll be taking the battery out of my Cavalier while it is being stored (it's an Orbital deep cycle spiral cell type thing) so i can keep it trickle-charged with one of those little solar panel chargers. anything else i should do before i put it away? fuel stabalizers? anything? any ideas would be great.. all my previous cars i had no problem driving through the winter, but after all the work and time i put into this one i want to keep it out of the weather. i like this one

oh yeah it's a 2.2 OHV, btw (for now).

thanks!

put some stabil in the gas tank otherwise you might put a bar of soap or some dryer sheets in the interior to keep it smelling fresh.
Some people will tell you to put the car up on jack stands etc but thats not neccesary for a winter storage.
You dont really need to even take the battery out as long as you keep the charger on it.
I'd leave the battery in personally so i could start the car up about once every 2-3 weeks and let it idle for a few minutes, just to keep everything nice and shiney inside the motor.
