i got quoted at my mechanic 300 dollars to repair my front right hub, 250 for the part and 50 for the labour?
Does the price seem right to you becuase the it does not seem right to me.

I would check places like Advance Auto Parts or Autozone for the price of one, then do the install yourself. It looks like your mechanic is really marking up the part since it's less than 1/4 that price at Autozone for your '98 Cavalier. Both Autozone and Advance have websites, so check them out.
