get a different car (honestly) or fork a whole lot of money into what you have by custom turbo?

The 2.0 OHC is about as gutless as it gets. Either get a better car, or drop in a v6...

3.4L out of a grand am (aka3400)
3.8lSC out of a grand prix gtp
someones doing an ecotec swap

alot of swaps have been done do some searching through these posts... theres alot of info...

go to http://www.domesticcrew.com and click on install guides... its a basic reference on any 60* v6 swap...

i do konw a 2.0 to 3400 isnt a direct swap... its beem discussed several times...

watch out for flames for posting this...

a 3.1l is a direct bolt in and the wiring is all plug and play. a 94 bird came with a 3.1l, so it all bolts in, you just need to find a fairly complete car in the junkyard to strip. a 3400 would be the next thing up from that, wich is practicaly a bolt in, you just need a custom from mount bracket and to change some of the wiring (using a 3.1l v6 harness)

a 3.8l is way to much work and money for what you get. and yes we (boostNbags and i) have done a turbo ecotec swap. that was 4 months of solid work and a fair bit of money and most of it was custom.

Yeah I got a laugh the first time, surprised yas didn't mention the ram intake made of duct tape, 3" aluminum dryer ducting, and a screen window.
