Hey has anyone been able to hook up a laptop via usb connection without buing any chips just straight hard wired in ? if so could ya share your hard work would like to get the laptop going this year thanks

I'm using my laptop right now, on my desk. Everything is USB except the network cable, thats CAT5.

Now that I see this tool, I may have to test it out. I'll need to grab a spare ECU, though. Glad to see it has 3.1L MPFI support, and doesn't require $700 like some software that is popular on the org. I just need to buy a lappy w/ a battery or a long extension cable (maybe longer than longcat?) The creator kinda shrouds the whole process in secrecy for n00bs to ECU tuning.
