i have 95 z24 with 5 speed i need a tranny and cant find one where i live and was wondering if a tranny would fit off a 2.2 because there a dime a dozen because i know its the transition year for the motor because i dont know what to do fix for good gas mileage or scrap thanks
you'd have better luck in the third gen or the transmission forum....
the 1995 is a third generation J body
the 1995 Z has the 2.3 litre Quad 4 LO engine... 1994 & before = 3.1 or 2.8 V6 --- <= 1996 - 2002 = 2.4 litre LD9 Twin Cam
look for a 2000+ 5 speed. That was the best Getrag produced for the quad family motors...
