Hi Guys

Got a question so i have this C20get motor in my Opel kadett shell, The motor was redone about 1500km ago after 5years abuse... so only upgrades ive done on the engine is arp's on the rods and bigger straight T3 turbo... everything else in the engine is stock i.e.: Pistons, rods, crank, headgasket, head..... i only put a bigger 63mm throttle body on... injectors are stock...
Now apparently the stock motor produces 165hp... but im keen on making 400hp ... i know its asking alot but then how much can i make before i have to start looking at forged internals like crank,rods and pistons....????

Power figures at this point of time... She produces a healthy 189kW (253hp)@ 0.7bar boost and 344NM torque @ 5800 RPM...and all this @ the wheels and not the Flywheel..

can you post a picture of the motor please?

The C20GET already has forged pistons stock. I cant really give you any specific power figures, but I've heard the stock bottom end is good for at least 300hp with arp rod bolts. I dont think anyone has pushed it past that yet.
Not that I've heard of anyways, I've been away from this sites for a few years.
