So I've decided to redo my cav as much as possible inside and out. The interior will be updated, the exterior is going to get a few fixes, and a small facelift (actually, I've almost finished the exterior, except I need tires for my new wheels), and the engine will be rebuilt and slightly modified. So, the list goes:
Interior:
- Replace carpet with industrial outdoor carpet (weighs a lot less and is easier to clean)
- Cobalt seats
- Grant steering wheel
- All season mats
Exterior:
- Shave mudflaps (3/4 done)
- Remove front plate mount (BC car, not necessary in AB, done)
- 1st gen Z24 wheels (yes, I have a set, in MINT condition)
- New rocker panels
- Fix some rust spots
- Z24 hood, if I can find one
Performance:
- Comp Cams cam kit
- EGR delete
- Intake of some sort
- 3400 Exhaust manifold
- 2.5" exhuast going to a nice muffler
- 1.6" rocker arms
- MRZ Alt and crank pulleys
Suspension:
- Eibach springs
- Addco Sway bars
- GM FSTB (already on)
- MRZ RSTB
The car is way out of town, but I'll post progress here when I can, and take some pics when I think to bring the camera.

Some misc things I forgot to mention on the list:
- Goodridge Steel braided brake lines
- OEM sized slotted rotors
- Hawk HPS pads
- Shaved body moldings
- Shaved badges
Updates once I get the goo gone and a hairdryer out there.

One more addition, since it was cheap at Canadian Tire: Ractive shift knob with red rubber insert. I also bought some scratch remover to fix any minor imperfections in the paint.

It's a matter of having the time to go out and pick up the car from it's temporary home. If I don't do it soon, this will be a parts hoarding thread until spring.

Well guess what? My wife decided to sell the car on me. I'm getting half what I paid for it, and I now have some useless parts on my hands.

um.. just how does she sell the car on you? Her car?
Wives can be replaced you know
Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
It was my car. She basically gave me her sister's sob story and how she needs a car, and we can't afford two cars (yeah right), and then told me to sign the bill of sale. I paid $1000 for the car, and she made me sell it (after putting in $300 in maintenance) for $500. I may or may not be able to buy the car back after she's done with it.
On the plus side, I still have a Beretta shell, and the steering wheel hub I have fits it, too. I just need an engine. If it pops up in Other Cars, be sure to look at the result, because while it may take time to get what I need, I have some plans for that car now...
