Hey all

I know very little about these car as Im a Datsun/Nissan guy by heart (240Z, 240SX and a 350 roadster)....please dont hold that against me! ......but .....I just picked up a 90 Sunbird Turbo Convertible with 42000 miles on the clock.....$750 . VERY clean all over except for one item...the head is cracked. I want to make this a basic daily driver for myself and my 2 sons and to do so will need to find a new head.

I cant seem to find any specific reference to a "turbo head"...is there one? Or is everything the same with lower compression. All help is appreciated

The turbo and NA heads are the same.

He's right, the heads are the same, but the cams ARE NOT.
Keep this in mind.
You can find a head from the junkyard, if they haven't been pulled for scrap ( they are cast aluminum) and put it on with the turbo cam installed.
You can use the NA cam with the turbo car, but it might run weird since the ECU may need tuned.

2010 Honda Fit LX

The turbo heads and all heads 82'-91' have a hart shaped combustion chamber,91'-94' have a "D" shaped raising compression.

I have a spare head and camshaft if anyone needs it.
