i have a 2001 cavalier z24 and lately ive been havin a few suspension problems (struts, drive axle) i was wonderin if anyone was havin the same problems wit the same model.

What kind of problems?? Be specific. How do you know you have problems, trustworthy mechanic?

Strut mounts go constantly on our cars. Drive axles never go, unless you do something stupid to them (including large HP gains). Stock struts suck, but rarely have serious/dangerous problems (besides not dampening worth $0.02).

with the 2000 i had to replace an axle around 60k miles and i did the struts and springs when i bought so i didnt have the factory stuff very long

my drive axle kept bindin up and i had it replace but it still doesnt sound 100 percent. i only have 30k on my car so i dont kno if thats typical. my stock struts make a rattlin sound but the mechanic says its not somethin to worry bout and ive known these guys for a long time and i trust them. i was just askin cause i was hopin it had somethin to do wit the model and mayb they had a recall or somethin lol

the rattling sound on my Z came from my strut mounts wearing out a little and my axle was snapped and had to be replaced immediatly
