ive read a all i can on the posts on them..but just want to clarify a couple things before i go and lay down over a grand on suspension

and what are your opinions on them, for those who have the Tein kit...pros, cons?? i want to know all i can before spending that kind of cash

Out of the box and on the car.
I was selling mine, still in the box.
I may repost.
But if you look at your factory front struts under the hood.
They use two 8mm 'nuts' and an 8mm bolt.
Well, the Teins use three 8mm 'nuts'
Basically where the factory has the bolt, Tein uses a nut.
ANY hardware store, less than a buck for a package of two 8mm nuts.
No big deal.
Have fun,

ahh i see, and tien doesn't supply that nut? well, no biggie, its just a couple of nuts...excellent.....that is just excellent, i should be able to go from box to car in an hour or so....now to see if i can afford the things or not
man i hope so, from what ive heard theyre amazing

I second that. I dont wanna knock Jim's product. But for the slight price difference the Teins are a straight foward install.
Has one hell of a warranty.
Also there are still some unhappy campers with thier Gravana's just take a look at the posts.
I love my Teins...
Say it with me, "Its not what you know...It's what you can prove"
Basically the financig is like any depertmant store card.
You apply at check out, and once approve you get a car in the mail and make payments.
And the card can be used in a few places.
A lot of tire places online, so down the line if oyu wanted rims n tires you could use it.

whats scary is that it actually doesn't sound like a bad deal at all, it almost seems as if theyre not out to screw you, but trying to be nice to customers to get repeat business

What strut/shock set up are you going w/ to compliment the Teins? I have the AGX setup, and I love it.

not sure if someone mentioned springs, but you DO realize the tein SS kit is a full coilover kit, right?
Jace Evo2 wrote:What strut/shock set up are you going w/ to compliment the Teins? I have the AGX setup, and I love it.
the tien ss kit is complete with everything you need, it has the adjustable shocks/struts, and the coilover springs already installed, even includes pillowball upper mounts...from my understanding, all you need is two 8 MM nuts, and the kit goes straight on the car from the box.
right now i have the AGX struts and H&R springs...theyre nice, but i have always wanted coilovers, and the tein SS kit looks awsome, especially those pillowball mounts, ive only heard great things about them
